This is at Asakusa Temple in Tokyo, Japan. Everything about Japan is amazing. It’s one of my favorite places to visit. A lot of the buildings date back a long long while. This temple was built in the 4th century. Asakusa is a temple in Tokyo, still used by monks today. It’s a big tourist area now and there are large markets just outside the temple walls. This picture is from a place in the temple where people go and place a coin in these boxes and say a short prayer. It’s meant to give you success in business related affairs. I thought it was interesting that it was for such a distinct purpose.
