This is a few of us standing just outside the entrance to Asakusa Temple. The two Japanese friends were in other bands on the tour and became fast, yet close friends. They spoke great english in comparison to my Japanese but most of our conversations involved a lot of nodding and smiling. The rest of the guys are from one of the bands I’ve worked with called Closure in Moscow from Australia.
We were asked to come over and fill in for another band who cancelled last minute. they called on a wednesday and by saturday we were in Tokyo preparing for the first show. It was a quick trip.
